The Spurs retired Melvin Ely's #2 jersey before the start of the Hornets / Spurs game however, the league notified the Spurs that they cannot do so because The Coyote already wears the 2 and did more for the team.
IN ALL SERIOUSNESS: Congrats Melvin, NBA champion forever now! One more than anyone on the Suns roster.
