Seattle Sonics ordered to Work on the Road
The Seattle SuperSonics players were recently ordered to work on off days while on the road by Sonics owner Clay Bennett.
"On the road, they don't do much but lose and we pay them so many millions," owner Clay Bennett stated, "We worked out deals with area restaurants where the players and the coaches can work on their off days in order for us to get the maximum return for the millions we give them every year."
When told that no other team makes their players or coaches work on the road when they don't have a game, Bennett said that unless an arena gets approved in Seattle, he will crusade other owners to follow him in making all players work, "Look Mark Cuban already did this, it's not as bad as you say it is."
