WTF FILES: UNC Tar Heels (The JV Edition)
The UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA
has a JV Team??????????
WTF? Since when?
Never heard of this before....but here are the future Washington Generals hopefuls.
2008 Schedule of the Bad Ass Non-Competitive League of N.C.

02/24/08 | vs. King | Chapel Hill, N.C. | 3:30 p.m. ET |
OK QUESTION: When the fuck do they go on the road? That game to Louisburg, must be a bitch. My money is with Louisburg College there.
And their last game of the season, is versus a King!
Speculations are that it's Lebron James since he band wagons on everything that could be successful if they win all the time.
As for awareness of the JV team, the school has a hard time getting people other than janitors to come to the games.
When 12 random people were polled, basically the UNC "varsity" players, not one knew that it had a JV pep squad.
and I guess the college students also don't know by the endless empty light blue seats. I bet I can still find some moron selling tickets on eBay for this.

NCAA Coach coaches Barefoot during Game...
UPUI coach Ron Hunter reacts to a play while coaching barefoot as his team played Oakland University in a college basketball game in Indianapolis, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008.
Hunters lack of foot wear is to raise awareness for needy children. His goal is to send 40,000 pairs of shoes to Africa in honor of the 40th anniversary of the death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
However, coach Hunter got two technical fouls and was later ejected when he kept telling the refs to smell his feet after every bad call.
"The refs stinked like my left foot," said an angry Coach Hunter.
Phoenix Suns' Amare Stoudamire heard about this and decided to donate 40,000 bins to the cause. "Hey, they need bins to put the shoes away, you know me anything for the kids," said Amare.
Nike stock tumbled to $57.41 after the game.

GREATEST BASKETBALL GAME FINISH EVER!
Guilford College vs Randolph Macon
The teams are tied 88-88 with just a fraction of a second in overtime.
Then Randolph Macon sinks a free throw to go up... 89-88
The second free throw is missed.
It's rebounded by Jordan Snipes of Guilford College and the rest is history....
The greatest moment in NCAA sports history.
and to think that many NBA players hold on to the ball in order to not mess up their shooting percentage. lol
UPDATE: Jordan Snipes went undrafted in the 2008 NBA Draft and has been in a major depression since...until he finally made this:
"YOU GOTTA GET SOME!"
