Minnesota Timberwolves introduce new intro song

METRODOME, MN - The Minnesota TimberWolves (still in the NBA as we go to press) introduced a new theme song in hopes that it will excite the 58 season ticket holders that are left.

"We had to change the intro song because we felt that the current song, 'Get Ready For This' was actually saying too much," stated a TimberWolves employee who was wearing a brown paper bag and was unidentifiable.

It adds, "Get Ready for This -- actually made the fans believe that this team was ready for NBA style play and that's not right."

The Wolves at first contacted anyone that would give them a free song but they finally decided to splurge ala Joe Smith and go with Snoop Dogg.

Journeyman Michael Doleac was happy for any change, "I knew it wasn't a new player or coach, but the the song is great, it gives our fans a better understanding of what this season is all about and I know the players like Marko Jaric will respond to it."

Jaric agreed, "If anything, we're the Wolves and he is the Snoop Dogg and we all know that a dog comes from the Wolf, so it was a perfect match all around. Now if we can only buy chemistry and nuts."
